Invited to the studio of “Al Moukawil” (المقاول), the entrepreneurship program produced by MFM Radio, Business Leaders Club Co-Founder and President Wail El Omari shared how university students are building the mindset and practical skills required to lead real companies.
When student leadership creates real value on campus, its impact reaches the airwaves. Recently, Wail El Omari, Co-Founder and President of the Business Leaders Club (BLC), was featured as a guest on “Al Moukawil” (برنامج المقاول), the entrepreneurship show broadcast on MFM Radio.
Hosted by the show’s presenter, the Wail El Omari Al Moukawil conversation explored how the Business Leaders Club helps Moroccan university students develop an entrepreneurial spirit and move directly from classroom theory into real-world business practice.

The program spotlights founders, executives, and student leaders who are actively shaping the future of entrepreneurship in Morocco.
Appearing on the program marked an important milestone for the Business Leaders Club. It demonstrated that structured student organizations can play a direct role in preparing tomorrow’s corporate managers and startup founders.
Self-Reflection and the Entrepreneurial Mindset
When asked to introduce the Business Leaders Club to MFM Radio listeners, Wail El Omari started with a foundational point: while you do not necessarily need to be a university student to become a leader or a manager, the club is designed to help young people begin questioning their own limits.
According to Wail, the primary mission of BLC is to encourage self-reflection (مراجعة الذات). Instead of waiting passively for a degree, students in the club are challenged to ask themselves a direct question: “Why can’t I manage a company or lead an organization?”
“BLC pushes you to think and practice self-reflection so that you ask yourself why you cannot be the one managing a company. Anyone who has that entrepreneurial spirit (l’esprit de l’entrepreneuriat) can lead and manage. Moving away from everything theoretical and stepping into practice is the core objective of the BLC.”
By cultivating l’esprit de l’entrepreneuriat early on, students realize that leadership is not an exclusive title reserved for a select few. Anyone willing to take initiative, solve problems, and manage responsibilities can become a leader.
Target Audience: Open to Every University Student
During the second part of the discussion, the host asked about the club’s target audience (la cible / الفئة المستهدفة) and who can benefit from its programs.
Wail emphasized that the Business Leaders Club is built on inclusivity and equal opportunity: every university student has the right to join BLC. Regardless of their academic year or specialization, any student who wants to develop their skills is welcome inside the club.
He also noted that any university student has the right to take part in the club’s upcoming program, which he said would be discussed in more detail later in the broadcast. The focus, he stressed, is on developing students at both the personal and professional levels.

The most resonant takeaway from Wail El Omari’s appearance on Al Moukawil was his contrast between academic study and real-world execution. University courses provide essential theoretical knowledge, but students need an environment where they can step away from tout ce qui est théorique (everything theoretical) and transition into la pratique (practical application).
To make this transition real at both the personal and professional levels (au niveau personnel et professionnel), BLC structures its activities around four core pillars mentioned during the broadcast:
Personal & Self-Development
Strengthening confidence, self-awareness, public speaking, and decision-making through active team responsibilities.
Conferences (Les Conférences)
Bringing experienced entrepreneurs, executives, and institutional partners to campus to share real market insights.
Masterclasses
Practical training sessions where students learn concrete management, project execution, and startup-building skills.
Professional Networking
Connecting university students with mentors, industry leaders, and ambitious peers across Morocco’s business ecosystem.
